Confirmation Class

Confirmation is the spiritual journey during which youth in 8^th and 9^th grade explore their Christian faith and spiritual journey and discern whether they wish to confirm their baptism vows and join the First Congregational Church.

Confirmation classes typically meet on Sunday nights for one hour, and the Confirmation journey runs over the course of two years.

During this time, youth learn more about the Bible, about the church, about Christian beliefs, and even about other religions. Youth also participate in the activities of a discipled Christian and active church member: worship attendance, sharing our talents and abilities within and beyond the church, financial generosity, prayer, and leadership.

Youth in 8^th and 9^th grade will receive a letter inviting them to join the Confirmation class journey. If you would like more information about Confirmation, please contact the church office.
