Serving Our Neighbor
FCC engages in many outreach ministries that feed the hungry and provide housing and supplies for those in need. Please visit the Outreach page or look at the Messenger Newsletter for more details.
Adult Bible Study
There are multiple opportunities for adults to nurture their Christian faith journeys and connect more deeply with God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. On Monday mornings from 9:00-10:00am, an adult Bible study group meets to explore a passage of scripture in more detail. We read our passage and explore different questions and themes that come up. There is no homework for this class nor is anyone expected to be an expert. This time is a safe space to wonder and try to connect God’s word more deeply to our own lives.
Women’s Guild
The Women’s Guild is a fellowship opportunity for women of all ages. The Guild meets the first Wednesday of the month in the months of April, May, June, October, November and December.
Men’s Fellowship
Men’s Fellowship is an opportunity for the men of our community to gather for conversation, service, and prayer. Men’s Fellowship typically meets on the second Sunday of each month at 8am in the Dining Room.
Small Group Ministry
Every year, as our community grows and more people share their gifts and passions, the First Congregational Church community has new and exciting opportunities for people of all ages to learn and grow in faith and relationship. Please see our Messenger newsletter and our church calendar for information about upcoming events and opportunities!
Sunshine Ministry
The Sunshine Ministry gathers on a monthly basis to make cards for Homebound members and others who might need a little more sunshine in their lives. Please contact the church office if you are interesting to joining.
Fellowship
One of the many blessings of a vital Christian community is that all ages can come together and be connected in Christ’s love. Fellowship’s ministry and mission it is to bring the community of FCC together for fun and friendship. Each week, the Fellowship Committee provides coffee, tea, juice, and tasty treats following Sunday morning worship and the opportunity for all to socialize.
Throughout the year, the Fellowship Committee also hosts other special community building events.
